Sky Water Earth

I believe that developing our instincts guides us to make decisions that are uniquely ours, which in turn allows us to create photographs of infinite variety.  Essayist and poet Henry David Thoreau wrote: “Nature invites us to lay our eye level with her smallest leaf, and take an insect view of the plain.” My goal is to seek the kinship Thoreau felt, through his “insect view” of nature, not only with small things but with each forever-new aspect of the universe. Every exposure I make is an opportunity to practice expressing my wonder and respect for our natural surroundings.
